Here is a not-so-flattering self-portrait I took of myself today while flying with Erik for the first time. I was trying not to throw up.
Not much to report, except that I didn't die.

You are brave. Troy would love to do this, but I am convinced he will die. Any suggestions?
Yes, Nancee. I suggest buying life insurance. It brings me a lot of comfort.
Way to go, Cristin! I know that was a fear of yours, so good job! I bet it made Erik so happy too that you trusted him. Love the title of this post; perfect!
I'm glad you didn't die. Was Erik appreciative of the sacrifice you made by flying with him?
Wow! I'm such a chicken.
You are so brave ... are you sick of hearing that?
That pic is hilarious.
I saw this on google reader, and it has all of your posts in backwards order... So the picture of you and the picture of Charlie --with exactly the same expression --were right on top of each other. I always said Charlie was the Lassen looking child, but now I don't know. So Cheer Up, Cristin!
Please don't die. Your children and the blogging world need you...
Peter is trying to talk me into the prospect of him getting a pilot's licence. Good luck to him on that one.
I'm glad you didn't die too
By the way, I obviously have a new picture of you to include in any future friend write-ups I have to post on my blog.
