PREGNANCY ADVICE FROM ALCHOHOLLY

37 weeks and it's official: I have gained 41 pounds, i.e., the weight of an average 6 year old, during the last 9 months. This baby probably weighs around 5 lbs. right now, so the other 36 pounds are..... in my face? Probably.

Either way, please don't mention anything about this weight gain to Alchoholly. She told me to never gain more than 10 pounds with a pregnancy or it would stay on my hips forever! (She really did say that to me and she was dead serious.)

  6. I've gained about 38lbs so far. At my last visit I had gained 4 pounds...in a week! It's almost become a joke when I go to my doctor visits to see how I can freak out the nurses when they weigh me. At this point I could care less how much I gain. I gained 40 with Carson...why not try to break that record?

  7. A) At least you didn't gain 41 lbs not pregnant.

    B) I don't have Alcoholly, but I do have the General, who recently told me that I probably won't get married because 95% of men couldn't handle my brain..."Thanks...I think???" (I'm not that smart, she just helped raise me, so she thinks I am).

    C) Have I mentioned that I'm really sad we were never companions???

  11. If your Grandma said it - it must be true! Remember to respect your elders, and know that they are always right.

That being said...41 lbs - chump change!

  12. Whatever. I'm sure 41 lbs heavier you are still less than I am NORMAL! You tiny thing.
