Dear Jim Halpert,

Thank you for cutting your hair. It was beginning to be embarrassing and no one could understand why these two women were fighting over such a ragamuffin.

Sincerely, Me

Other thoughts: I loved how Jan got fired for "visiting her sister in Scottsdale" all the time and completely losing her mind. I can't wait to see how she makes the relationship with Michael her "full-time job." Dwight's reign over the office was great. Here is the link to Creed's blog. And finally, yes, I believe this means Pam and Jim are together. When the show returns in September I fully expect Pam and Jim* to be married with a baby on the way. (One can dream, right?)

*I know they aren't real people. THEY AREN'T REAL PEOPLE!

  1. Dwights fantasy where he is the "co-owner" of a bed and breakfast and he makes 80k a year. SOO GOOD... can't wait to watch that part again on youtube!

  2. I do have to agree with you that Pam and Jim are finally together, especially with his "Its a date" comment, but I don't dig the hair. I was kind of enjoying the "homeless" look. A brilliant season finale!!! I am going to be going back and watching the previous seasons with a friend of mine to get her caught up over the summer. That should pacify my need for more.

  3. Don't you think that Jim was sure that Karen would get the job? I mean it was obvious that Michael wasn't getting it and after finding Pam's love note he must've said something to make himself stay in Scranton and the only other person that was going for the job (that he was aware of) was Karen, right? I'm guessing part of the reason he asked Pam out is because he thought it'd be easy now, w/Karen gone, they could have a happy relationship together. Hummm, I wonder what's going to happen with that since Karen obviously didn't get the position.

  4. One night after getting caught up with all my tv shows I'm obsessed with (yes, even the Bachelor, which makes me want to jump off a cliff) I sighed and turned to Jake and said, "I wish these people were real". SO RIDICULOUS. But I was really satisfied that Jim asked Pam out. But there's gotta be some kind of drama with Jim, Pam and Karen now, right? Or did Karen say she wasn't going to go back when they were in NYC?

  5. I finally got to watch it tonight. So fantastic! I loved Pam's line about "wearing stretch pants" and waiting for Michael to get home. Hilarious! And I love the Jim asked Pam out! And I love that I am just as excited about there dating situation as I would be any good friend! T.V. is great!

And if you're looking for something to get you through summer reruns, I highly recommend Veronica Mars (on DVD). It's a great show that just got cut by the CW after it's 3rd season, so you can watch the entire series this summer.

  6. Yeah, I was glad they made Karen look like a bit of a jerk when she was ripping on Jan, b/c it makes it that much easier for me to want Jim and Pam together, since it got hard there for a little while. I do think Jim will be in major trouble for leaving Karen in NYC, right?

  7. And yes, Kelley - the bed and breakfast part was the best.
